![]() The Raccoon Leaf is the most common power-up exclusive to Super Mario Bros. 3 and have not been usable since except in ports of the game. All three of the suits were exclusive to Super Mario Bros. I guess the Magic Flute is still an important aspect in this version.Three of the power-ups in the game were "suits", and were the rare half of the powerups. I had to enter the world for the first time, and then I was able to choose the World on the Level Selection screen. ![]() Unfortunately, I wasn't just able to enter the world in a snap. ![]() 3 out of four Mario classics, there was a level selection screen where I was given the option to choose which of the eight worlds I want to go to, without having the use of the Magic Flutes. What was special with the SNES version is that when I chose Super Mario Bros. If I had the chance to get back my Super Nintendo (yes, I gave away my Super Nintendo ) just to play one game that I own, this would be it. It was on a special game called Super Mario All-Stars Gosh. I, myself, am fond of the SNES version of Super Mario Bros. But, I can beat the whole game (all eight levels) if I got the chance to play. I can see why the Magic Flute is a godsend in this game. It wasn't until recently that I learned that you can't save in this game, and can only beat this game in one seating. I see that you are talking about the NES version of Super Mario Bros. Of course, most of this has to do with the fact that you can save in zelda and not in mario 3, but that's not entirely it. especially when you're having challenges with your friends to try and beat the ice world without dying once. in zelda, you need to complete every dungeon, regardless of whether or not you've beaten the game 20 times, but in mario, if you're skillful enough and can skip three worlds at a time and not have a problem, then the flute is a godsend.
